Price Volatility & Hedging Steel Price Risk
A Workshop for Companies Who Actively Buy or Sell Steel
February 9, 2012 9 AM to 4 PM
Houston, Texas
“Companies who buy or sell steel – end users, service centers, and steel mills - constantly struggle with price volatility. Financial instruments such as Futures or OTC swaps can help control price swings. Our workshop will help you understand the products and the process. ”
The Keys to our Workshop Include:
- • Andre Marshall is an active broker in the flat rolled market in North America and Europe focusing on futures and OTC swaps in hot rolled coil, cold rolled coil and hot dipped galvanized.
- • We will offer a “hands-on” experience – working through examples both provided by the instructor as well as coming from the class and letting you determine if the circumstances are right to take a hedging position.
- • Our workshop will include information about active traders, market makers and others associated with Futures Trading and Swaps. Our goal is to inform and provide tools so you can select whomever you feel most comfortable working with after leaving our workshop.
