Evraz North America has announced Kimberly Fields as new Executive Vice President for its Flat Products Group. “Ms. Fields will oversee commercial and manufacturing operations for the product group across the U.S. and Canada” at the headquarters office in Chicago, according to the company press release.

Ms. Fields was recently General Manager, Industrials for General Electric Energy. She has also held leadership positions in operations, business development and engineering with Alcoa, Metalspectrum and Owens Corning.

The press release said, “The Flat Products Group includes the manufacturing and commercial operations for steel plate and coiled plate used in construction of tanks, vessels, bridges and rail cars as well as the steel feed stock for Evraz pipemaking mills. The Flat Products Group’s manufacturing facilities are located in Regina, Saskatchewan; Claymont, Delaware; Portland, Oregon; and Surrey, British Columbia.”
