During the Fall of this year Steel Market Update conducted a special Steel 101 training program for an association of manufacturers who all purchase flat rolled steel products. The program used parts of our Steel 101: An Introduction to the Making & Rolling of Steel workshop as well as information which was tailored specifically for the companies for whom the workshop was being conducted.

We received an email from one of the companies in attendance within the past few days. In the email the owner of the company thanked Steel Market Update for the information we provided in that they were able to utilize the information to select a new mill steel supplier.

A second company who attended that same association training workshop but also attended our regular Steel 101 workshop earlier this year told us they had developed a relationship with one of our instructors who then assisted the company’s buyer in developing a relationship with a specific steel mill which has benefited their company greatly every since.
