In an email to their customers released late this afternoon, ArcelorMittal announced it would be restarting the Cleveland West steelmaking operations. The anticipated date of restart is early in the 2nd Quarter 2012. According to the company memo the restart will result in an additional 480,000 tons of flat rolled steel supply.
