Last Day for Hedging Price Risk Workshop Early Bird Discount

Today is the last day to receive the “early bird” discount for our Hedging Price Risk workshop which will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Chicago Board of Trade building in downtown Chicago. The program will include a floor tour of the CME trading floor which is located in the CBOT building.

Our workshop is a partnership between the CME Group (the Exchange), Andre Marshall, CEO of Crunch Risk, LLC (the Broker) and Steel Market Update’s experienced steel people (the Industry). It is the combination and chemistry of the group which makes the workshop valuable to those within the steel industry.

The workshop is for those who are actively involved in buying and selling flat rolled steel (or manufacturers who use flat rolled steel in your products). The workshop is aimed at answering questions about how to limit price risk associated with market volatility. How to manage risk on your inventories. How to protect margins and how to offer long-term fixed pricing.

Our program provides a thorough review of when HR Futures, Options or OTC swaps should be used, who should use them (and who should not) and why. We provide examples of trades and walk you through the decision-making process. Our instructors discuss the costs associated with making trades, margins, settlements and how to use your existing lines of credit.

You can find more information about our program, costs to attend and discounts in the Events section of the Steel Market Update website: www.steelmarketupdate.com

You are also welcome to contact our offices M-F between 8AM-5PM ET: 800-432-3475 (706-216-5440). We will answer any questions you might have.
