Nucor Announces New $30 Price Increase on Flat Rolled Steel Products
Happy New Year from your local Nucor sheet sales group…. Nucor announced a new round of price increases on all flat rolled products: hot rolled, cold rolled and galvanized. The increases are for $30 per ton ($1.50/cwt) and will be added to the whole host of previous increases announced (and passed through as continuations of previous price announcements).
Below is the verbiage Nucor sent to their customers earlier this evening:
“Due to the continued escalation of raw material and input costs the Nucor Sheet Mill Group will increase base prices on new orders for Hot Rolled, Cold Rolled and Galvanized products by a minimum of $30 per ton effective immediately.
We reserve the right to review and re-quote any offers that are not confirmed with either a Nucor sales acknowledgement or written acceptance by both parties.
Please contact your Nucor District Sales Manager regarding pricing and availability.
Thank you for your continued support of the Nucor Sheet Mill Group.”
