ArcelorMittal Responds To Patent Case Decision Against Severstal

ArcelorMittal responds to the patent infringement case decision against Severstal.

ArcelorMittal said the company is disappointed in the decision that “found that two of its competitors did not infringe some of the claims, as narrowly interpreted, in one of its U.S. patents on aluminum-pre-coated boron-containing carbon steel and that such claims were invalid.

The jury’s verdict remains subject to reversal by the judge and to an appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, which has jurisdiction over patent cases."
