Steel Training Workshop On Steelmaking Process
Steel Market Update is offering you a chance to learn about the steel making process at our Steel 101 training workshop in Houston, Texas on April 6-7, 2011. This workshop will explain and discuss the steel making process from raw materials to blast (or electric arc) furnace to the casting and rolling process.
Our workshop will be the first of a series to be conducted as a joint venture between Steel Market Update and Iron Angels of Colorado, Inc. The goal of this workshop is to provide an easy introduction to the business, by taking our participants from raw materials through the steel making processes and to the various product groups, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
This first seminar will consist of 5 sessions and run over 1.5 days. Please consult the Full Program link for more information.
All 5 sessions will be taught by instructors with substantial hands-on experience in the business. Each instructor has a minimum of 30 years in their area of expertise.
Steel 101 is already 75% full; so there are just enough spots available for you! SMU offers three discounts and a wonderful price for the quality workshop you will receive.
