Construction & Steel Summit to be Held in Atlanta on October 10, 2011
Steel Market Update will conduct our second annual Construction & Steel Summit which will be held once again in conjunction with METALCON on Monday, October 10, 2011. This year’s conference will be held at the World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta.
We have expanded the program from last year’s conference in Las Vegas and we have a number of excellent presenters plus a mill panel which we feel will bring value to those attending. Last year our attendance was approximately 175 people which encompassed everything from large OEM’s, trading companies, service centers, paint companies and coil coaters, supply houses, toll processors and the financial community.
Even though the conference is entitled “Construction & Steel Summit” there are many companies associated with other end use applications such as grain bins, appliances, computers & storage equipment, automotive, etc.
The program is being broken into three main sections:
Economic & Steel Trends/Forecasting: What does the economy hold for 2012?
Sharing the Wealth: Scrap & Raw Materials; the China Affect on Prices; Moving Metal – Trucking & Logistics Issues.
Steel Mill Roundtable: Factors Shaping the Industry into 2012.
For a complete review of the program and of our speakers go to www.SteelMarketUpdate.com/Events or just click on this link.

Entry to METALCON is free if you register between now and September 27th.
