Nucor send a letter to their customers shortly after 5 PM today stating, “Due to the continued high cost of raw materials coupled with consistent end user demand, the Nucor Sheet Mill Group will increase base prices on new orders for Flat Rolled products by a minimum of $60 per ton, effective immediately.

We reserve the right to review and re-quote any offers that are not confirmed with either a Nucor sales acknowledgement or written acceptance by both parties.
