Final Thoughts

Written by John Packard

Today we remember those who lost their lives in the World Trade Center, Pentagon and those aboard United Airlines flight 93 which crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Although it was a time of devastation and despair it was also a time when the world united behind the United States and the global fight against those who wish to create fear in order to undermine our democracy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those who were affected by the events of 9/11. Our thoughts and prayers go out to our troops, and those of many other countries around the world, who are combating terrorism around the world.

But perhaps most importantly our hopes and prayers go out to those who lead and will lead the United States of America in the months and years ahead.

A quick note about our upcoming Steel 101 workshop which will be held in Memphis, Tennessee and will include a tour of the brand new Big River Steel mill located across the Mississippi in Osceola, Arkansas.
