Beaver Steel Joins NASA Buying Co-op

Beaver Steel Services, Inc., Carnegie, Pa., has joined the North American Steel Alliance as its 124th service center member. NASA is a member-owned purchasing cooperative serving the metals distribution industry.
Beaver Steel provides flat-rolled carbon steel to manufacturers, fabricators and job shops within a 300-mile radius of Pittsburgh. With a focus on value-added processing, the company operates two multi-blanking lines, two lasers, shears, press brakes, punches and a powder coat paint line.

“[Joining NASA] gives us a great opportunity to work with great suppliers that understand the customer’s need for excellence and collaborate with steel service centers that share our vision of growth and customer service,” said Beaver President Tony Treser.
NASA members in the United States and Canada operate more than 430 distribution and processing facilities and collectively represent annual revenues exceeding $9 billion dollars.
