Olympic Steel announced the promotion of Andrew J. Tobias to General Manager of Berlin Metals. Tobias has been with the company since 2013, beginning as an outside sales representative for Integrity Stainless. He was promoted to Stainless Steel Product Manager-Specialty Metals in 2015.
In his new position, Tobias will be responsible for driving profitable growth for Berlin Metals, an Olympic Steel company specializing in tin mill products, stainless steel strip, cold rolled steel and galvanized steel. Roy Berlin, former owner and president of Berlin Metals, has retired.
Hannah N. Price has been promoted to General Manager of the Alabama division and will launch and manage operations at Olympic’s new Alabama Distribution Facility.
The Birmingham-area facility will support Olympic Steel’s Plate and Sheet product distribution for the greater Huntsville and Birmingham metropolitan areas. The new location will also increase Olympic Steel’s product availability and market share regionally, while reducing distribution-related costs for the company’s current customer base.
Price began her career at Olympic Steel in 2014 as as an outside sales representative for the company’s Atlanta division, and in 2016 she was promoted to Regional Sales Manager.
