Leading Elections Expert to Discuss 2020 During Free SMU Webinar
Written by John Packard
October 27, 2020
Tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 28) we will host one of our free SMU Community Chat Webinars with Dr. David Schultz, Distinguished Professor of Political Science & Legal Studies at Hamline University. Dr. Schultz is an elections expert, and he has some interesting observations from an academic (as opposed to partisan political) perspective regarding this year’s election.
Over the course of 30 minutes, he will break down the election, which states to watch, what counties within a few of those states may determine this election. He will also comment on what one state could be an early determinator for President Trump (one that is on the edge and he cannot lose), as well as a prognostication for the Senate races. He also will have some interesting comments for those of you who are concerned about the partisan divide and when (and why) that may change.
Come join us at 11 a.m. ET as we look at the political landscape from an academic, non-partisan point of view. Steel Market Update President and CEO John Packard will also comment on what has become a very interesting steel market. Registration is free; register by clicking here or going to: www.SteelMarketUpdate.com/blog/smu-community-chat-webinars
