Next SMU Community Chat to Feature Majestic Steel USA CEO Todd Leebow
Written by Michael Cowden
February 2, 2022
Majestic Steel USA CEO Todd Leebow will be the featured speaker on Steel Market Update’s next Community Chat webinar on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. ET (10 a.m. CT).
We’ll discuss the big issues facing service centers in the face of unprecedented price volatility and technical change. Topics will include:
- How are service centers managing inventory at a time when prices can rise or fall by hundreds of dollars per ton from one month to the next?
- How is Majestic managing not only such price swings but also the disruptions caused by COVID-19, labor and parts shortages, and inflation?
- What are the risks and opportunities posed by new sheet steel capacity coming online over the next year?
- How is end-use demand from a service center perspective?
- What new technologies and strategies is Majestic deploying to set itself apart from its competitors?
We’ll take your questions too. Register here.
As always, we’ll keep it to about 45 minutes. You can (virtually) drop in, learn something – and then get on with your day. And the webinar is free.
Why should you listen? Because Todd Leebow knows steel market ups and downs, not just in theory but also from the practical experience of leading one of North America’s largest flat-rolled steel service centers.
