Bull Moose Tube Adds to Board as Sinton Facility Nears Completion

Bull Moose Tube Co. (BMT) is nearing completion of its new, 350,000-tons-per-year welded tube mill on the campus of Steel Dynamics Inc.’s new sheet mill in Sinton, Texas.
The new hollow structural sections (HSS) and sprinkler pipe mill, Bull Moose’s eighth facility, will allow the company to expand, grow, and increase its total operational capabilities to 1 million tons per year. Completion of the project is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
Chesterfield, Mo.-based Bull Moose Tube is a part of the Caparo Bull Moose Inc. (CBM) group of companies. The two companies announced this week they are expanding their Boards of Directors.
The Boards of each company now include:
• The Hon. Ambar Paul: Co-Chair Caparo Group Limited and Caparo PLC; Executive Chairman, Caparo Holdings (US) Limited; Chairman of CBM and BMT
• David Dancaster: Director and Chief Financial Officer of Caparo Worldwide PLC
• Tom Modrowski: President and CEO of BMT
• John Krupinski: Chief Financial Officer of BMT
• Rob Boyle, PhD: Associate Professor of Management, St. Louis University
• Sudhir Maheshwari: Founder and Managing Partner, Synergy Capital Corp LLP
• Kathleen Sullivan: Co-Founder and Principle of Pryzm Advisors LLC and Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of BMT
“This collection of directors is a reflection of BMT’s commitment to innovation and collaboration, as well as its insatiable desire to succeed,” said BMT president and CEO Modrowski. “The board will be an invaluable source of counsel, guidance, and inspiration,” as the company starts up the new mill in Sinton.
Bull Moose Tube operates six welded tube facilities in the US and one in Canada. Its products are used in the construction, transportation, fire protection, lawn and garden equipment, engineering, and household product industries.
