FGM-Fabral is extending its reach into the solar market.
The metal roofing manufacturer is launching Fabral Solar to integrate solar technology within commercial, residential, and agricultural structures.
“Our team will leverage the Fabral knowledgebase in construction, to assist with the steel fabrication and roll-formed products utilized to support solar modules,” said Fabral Solar co-founder John Cummings. “Fabral Solar is designed to be a one-stop shop for all solar racking needs, utilizing our unmatched resources from Fabral and Flack Global Metals.”
FGM acquired Fabral in 2023.
Cummings and Larkin Canington will lead the division. Both were Bethlehem Steel executives until the company was sold in 2003. They then formed Baltimore Steel Partners, the genesis of their foray into solar project installation.
