Timna Tanners joins Wells Fargo as managing director, equity research

Veteran metals and mining analyst Timna Tanners has joined Wells Fargo as managing director of equity research, according to a post on her LinkedIn profile.
She joins the San Francisco-based bank from Wolfe Research LLC, a boutique investment firm where she had worked as managing director since 2021.
Tanners previously covered steel and metals for Bank of America, where she earned fame and notoriety for her Steelmaggeddon hypothesis, and for UBS.
She is also among the most popular speakers at SMU events and on our Community Chat webinars.
