Canada’s Nova Steel has fully acquired all of the assets of Ohio’s Sheffield Steel Products.
The flat-rolled service center will now operate as Sheffield Steel Inc., part of the Nova Steel Group of companies, according to a letter penned by Nova Steel Senior VP Beric Sykes.
Sheffield Steel’s facility in Macedonia, Ohio, boasts four slitters, and its offerings include aluminum and hot- and cold-rolled, P&O, coated, and stainless steel.
Headquartered in LaSalle, Quebec, Nova Steel processes and distributes steel across North America. Its operations support the automotive, construction, mining, agriculture, transportation, plumbing and heating, HVAC, waste equipment, and rail industries.
“By expanding our US operations, we are strengthening our ability to provide enhanced service, increased capacity, and a broader range of high-quality steel products to meet the needs of our customers across the United States,” Sykes stated.
