Written by Laura Miller
Ryerson Holding Corp. announced a series of leadership changes to fully align the organization after its recent acquisition of Cleveland-based Olympic Steel.
Mark Silver, with over 30 years of legal experience, has been named Ryerson executive vice president and chief legal and risk officer. His expanded responsibilities include enterprise risk management and cybersecurity, Ryerson said.
Leading Ryerson’s enterprise technology function, including e-commerce, marketing, and project management, will be Chief Information Officer Frank Williams. He joined Ryerson in 2003, most recently serving as general manager of e-commerce, marketing, and communication.
Richard Manson will continue to serve as chief financial officer of Olympic Steel and will additionally serve as senior vice president of finance at Ryerson. He has been with Olympic since 1996.
Retired US Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Rosenberg has been named Ryerson’s chief of staff, responsible for directly supporting Ryerson’s CEO, Eddie Lehner, and President and COO Rick Marabito.
Finally, Brian Seeley has been promoted from general manager to president of Ryerson Advanced Processing (RAP). Seeley has more than three decades of leadership in manufacturing and metals.
“Each of these experienced leaders has demonstrated exceptional commitment to our values, strong operational and strategic leadership, and a deep understanding of the company’s customers, markets, and teams,” said Lehner. “Their appointments underscore the importance of continuity, collaboration, and thoughtful leadership as Ryerson advances its integration efforts.”
Manson, Rosenberg, and Seeley will work closely with Ryerson’s senior management team, which is now comprised of CEO Eddie Lehner, President and COO Richard T. Marabito, CFO Jim Claussen, Ryerson EVP and President of Olympic Steel Andrew Greiff, Chief Accounting Officer & Corporate Controller Molly Kannan, EVP and Chief Legal & Risk Officer Mark Silver, and Chief Information Officer Frank Williams.
Chicago-based Ryerson is one of the top service center groups in North America, employing ~6,400 people across 160 locations.
