JSW Steel USA fought back from a difficult outage last winter at its slab mill in Mingo Junction, Ohio. The facility has since benefited from significant upgrades, including to its caster. What comes next? The company also operates plate and large OD pipe mills in Baytown, Texas. We’ll talk about how upgrades there are proceeding and what’s in store for JSW in the Lone Star State.
Given the diversity of the products it makes, JSW has a broad view of the US market. What does the company see across the end markets it serves? We’ll also discuss how JSW Steel USA – which has a comparatively small footprint in the US – navigates a domestic market characterized by a handful of larger, more consolidated competition.
