Michael Wagner Appointed New Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Essar Steel Algoma

Michael Wagner has been appointed Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Essar Steel Algoma, pending regulatory approval. Wagner most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at SeverCorr where he was a founding member in 2005. He began his career at Bethlehem Steel and moved on to progressively advanced roles at Nucor and Birmingham Steel.
“Mike brings to the role extensive experience in steel sales, marketing and business development in an industry where he has a proven track record for helping companies to grow and expand into strategic new markets,” said company spokesperson Brenda Stenta.
