Written by John Packard
May 12, 2015
Earlier today Nucor announced a price increase of $25 per ton on carbon and alloy plate as well as heat treated plate products. The increase was to be effective “immediately.”

Plate prices averaged $579 per ton this past week according to our most recent Comparison Price Indexes table produced in Sunday evening’s edition of our newsletter.
