SMU Virtual Steel Summit: Incredible Opportunity

Written by John Packard

The 2020 SMU Virtual Steel Summit Conference promises to be much like every Steel Summit Conference: large audience, exceptional networking opportunities, strong exhibition area topped off by the strongest slate of speakers we have ever put forward.

If you spend the few dollars needed to attend ($350 all in if your company is an SMU subscriber and sends two or more people to the event; this is $1,045 less than a ticket to our live event) you will have literally 30 days of exposure to great minds, company leaders and forecasters. This is the one event where everyone from the “C-Suite” to new hires will gain from attending. If you have never attended an SMU event, this one will give you a good feel for the quality of our program and the value received.

When we say 30 days, we are being serious. The event dates are Aug. 24-26, but we will open the “gates” a few days early to allow you to familiarize yourselves with the platform, complete your schedule to make sure you don’t miss any speakers, and to make introductions and appointments with other attendees. We will also keep the platform open and available to registered attendees for three to four weeks after the event. For the first time, you will have an opportunity to view every piece of the agenda, see every exhibition booth and, if others are in the platform the same time as you, continue to network.

This will be the second year for the SMU NexGen Leadership Award sponsored by the Steel Manufacturers Association. Please take the time to nominate those deserving individuals from your company. You can find details about the award, who is qualified to be nominated, the nomination process, what the finalists and the winner will receive and more by clicking here:
