Jemison Metals to buy Advance Metal Components

Jemison Metals has announced a definitive agreement to buy Advanced Metal Components Inc.
The Birmingham, Ala.-headquartered supplier of flat-rolled products said the transaction is scheduled to be completed on or before March 29. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are thrilled to welcome Advanced Metal Components into the Jemison Metals family,” Craig Mathiason, CEO of Jemison Metals, said in a statement on March 6.
Advanced Metal Components is precision sheet metal manufacturer located in Swainsboro, Ga. Jemison said the buy is a sign of the company’s growth and diversification within the metal sector.
“I am excited about the opportunities that the acquisition by Jemison Metals will provide our customers and our employees,” said Doug Brown, president of Advanced Metal Components.
“I am looking forward to my new role in operating the Jemison Metals facility in Swainsboro,” he added.
