Atlas Tube debuts 'HSS Connections Hub'
Written by Ethan Bernard
April 2, 2025
Atlas Tube, part of Zekelman Industries, has introduced its “HSS Connections Hub,” aimed at providing resources to simplify Hollow Structural Sections (HSS) connection design for structural engineers and fabricators.
“By providing fabrication-friendly HSS connection designs and calculations, the Connections Hub fills a void for engineers looking to realize the benefits of HSS in their designs,” Jeff Cole, president of Atlas Tube, said in a statement Tuesday.
The hub includes a variety of “downloadable typical connection details and advanced HSS design calculators.” This will reduce costs and complexity for engineers’ designs, Atlas said.
Chicago-based Zekelman’s companies include Atlas Tube, Picoma, Sharon Tube, Wheatland Tube, Western Tube, and Z Modular.
