National Tube Supply has opened a new distribution facility in Hemet, Calif., just west of Palm Springs.
“This facility marks not just a new chapter for National Tube Supply, but a strategic investment in the future of our business and the industries we serve, especially customers here in the West,” said Gary Throw, president of NTS.
The new facility has 90,000 square feet of warehouse space. It is equipped with dual 10-ton cranes and double-lane drive-throughs, according to the Chicago-based distributor of carbon and alloy mechanical tubing and bar products.
It also includes an additional 7,000 square feet of office space, with which NTS plans to enhance its customer service on the West Coast.
The new facility in Hemet is almost double the footprint of NTS’s existing Southern California warehouse located ~25 miles away in Moreno Valley. This reflects its “commitment to maintaining an expansive inventory and quick delivery,” NTS noted.
One noteworthy feature of the new facility is a second-floor outdoor mezzanine area for employees to lounge, grill, relax, and socialize.
“As we continue to grow, our focus remains on delivering exceptional service and expanding our capabilities — all while creating an environment where our people can thrive,” Throw added.
