FabArc Steel Supply announced this week the completion of two large-scale projects in Georgia and Mississippi.
The Oxford, Ala.-based steel fabricator completed its $200-million+ contract for Amplify’s new manufacturing facility in Byhalia, Miss. It was the largest contract in FabArc’s history, according to a company post on LinkedIn.
It required over 28,000 tons of structural steel and “demonstrated the expertise, precision, and teamwork that define the FabArc difference.”
Amplify Cell Technologies is a joint venture between Accelera, Daimler Trucks, and PACCAR, founded in 2024. The company’s website said it is set to become the largest commercial battery cell manufacturing company in the US.
Later in the week, FabArc said it finished the steel structure for DataBank ATL 5, a 416,000-square-foot data center in South Fulton, Ga.
“This project required over 5,000 tons of structural steel and represents a major investment in the region’s growing technology infrastructure,” FabArc said in another LinkedIn post.
