    Holiday Notice: Thanksgiving

    Steel Market Update staff will be taking some time off for the Thanksgiving holiday.

    We will not publish our Executive issue on Thursday, Nov. 27 or Sunday, Nov. 30. Our offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28.

    We will resume our regular publication schedule on Monday, Dec. 1. Our weekly pricing service will not be impacted.

    From all of us at SMU, we truly appreciate your business and wish you and yours all the best this holiday season.

    Majestic Steel promotes Broyles to EVP

    Majestic Steel USA announced that Chad Broyles will now be the Executive Vice President for its business operations unit. The Cleveland-headquartered flat-rolled steel distributor and processor expects Broyles to help Majestic align its commercial and operational priorities.
