    Tampa Steel Conference: It’s just around the corner!

    With less than two months to go, we have nearly 300 attendees registered so far for the 37th annual Tampa Steel Conference. Join hundreds of industry executives at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street from Wednesday, Feb. 11, through Friday, Feb. 13.

    A trip to Tampa is the perfect remedy for the winter blues. The event will bring together executives from across the steel supply chain, as well as leading analysts and policy experts.

    David Schollaert is deputy editor-in-chief for Steel Market Update. David joined SMU after more than a decade in the metals and mining industry in a myriad of different roles. Much of his early experience and expertise were within the coverage and analysis of steel-making raw materials and served previously as senior editor of the CRU Prices Service. Most recently, however, before his return to market analysis, David held roles as a metals buyer and an operations manager for raw material suppliers.
