Steelforce Packaging has restructured its North American operations into an entity it now calls Steelforce America. Brion S. Talley will lead Steelforce America as its CEO.

    Overview

Parent company Steelforce Group, the Antwerp, Belgium-headquartered parent company to Steelforce America, restructured to support its global growth strategy.

Steelforce Group is a global steel trading and distribution organization.

In a Feb. 23 statement, Steelforce said it developed the new structure to support successful long-term growth in the North American market. The company noted it recognizes increasing demand, the need for expanded leadership, infrastructure, and commercial focus.

    Selecting Talley to lead

The statement addressed Talley’s 30-year track record of successes credited to his executive leadership.

“North America is a key pillar in our global strategy. Brion’s experience and leadership strengthen our ability to execute locally while leveraging the full strength of our global network. This appointment reflects our long-term commitment to the US market,” said Kurt Crollet, chairman of Steelforce Group.

Talley built teams across North America as CEO and president of JFE Shoji America.

In addition, he grew JFE to a $500-million organization with a competitive position across the automotive, construction, energy, and packaging markets.

Davide Padovani, CEO of Steelforce Packaging, said Talley’s ability to forge long-term strategic relationships made him an attractive choice for the CEO role.

“We were looking for someone with the knowledge, expertise, and mindset to grow the business in the right way — someone who truly understands the intrinsic value of building relationships,” said Padovani, adding, “Brion checked every box.”

    From the CEO

Following the announcement, Talley offered his take on being appointed as CEO.

“I am honored to join Steelforce America at such an important stage of its development,” he said. “The company has built a strong foundation. I look forward to expanding customer partnerships, driving innovation, and working closely with Davide and the broader team to unlock new growth opportunities.”
