    Zekelman taps Athanassiadis as division president of Sharon Tube

    Zekelman Industries said Jean-Marc “JM” Athanassiadis will take over as division president for the company’s Sharon Tube business unit in Farrell, Pa.

    Athanassiadis will replace Dan Reilly, who is set to retire after nearly seven years leading the company.

    “JM has a strong track record of improving safety, strengthening processes, and building high-performing teams at every stop in his journey,” Tom Muth, president, Pipe and Tube, of Zekelman Industries, said in a statement on Monday.

    Most recently, Athanassiadis was COO at Auburn, Ind.-based Metal Technologies, where he led “operational stabilization efforts” across six locations.

    Chicago-based pipe and tube producer Zekelman said Athanassiadis will be relocating to Pennsylvania in the next few months.
