The Alliance Steel Family of Companies has hired longtime steel executive Thomas J. Pasko as commercial director. Pasko adds more than three decades of flat-rolled steel experience to Alliance’s leadership team, according to an announcement from the company.

Pasko will lead commercial strategy across Alliance’s steel, tubing, and fabrication divisions. His mandate includes expanding partnerships and driving long-term revenue growth in coated products, tubing, and downstream fabrication.

The company said his role includes developing new business, strengthening existing customer relationships, and aligning commercial efforts with shifting market demands.

“Tom’s proven track record of building and scaling commercial platforms in the steel service center industry is undeniable,” said Wes Morgan, vice president of Alliance Family of Companies.

Pasko has spent 33 years in the steel sector. He’s held leadership roles focused on sales organization development and partnerships with domestic mills and OEMs. He said he’s joining Alliance at a moment of “strong momentum and opportunity,” citing the company’s integrated platform and industry-experienced leadership team.

Alliance operates three divisions – Alliance Steel, Alliance Fabrication & Manufacturing, and Alliance Tubular Products – on a single rail-accessible campus in Gary, Ind., offering coil processing, fabrication, and mechanical/structural tubing production.
