SMU Steel Summit 2026: Things are heating up!

We’re less than 90 days out from North America’s largest gathering of the flat-rolled steel industry!
It’s not just the temperatures outside that are on the rise. Anticipation for SMU’s Steel Summit 2026 is heating up, with a timely agenda getting its final touches.
We’re on pace to best last year’s record-setting attendance of over 1,500! That means a lot of ideas to share, tons of networking, and plenty of new people to meet. So, bring your business cards.
More than 600 steel industry professionals from nearly 300 companies and over 15 countries are already registered to attend the Summit this August in Atlanta.
It runs Monday, Aug. 24, to Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) in Atlanta.

GICC hotels
As you can imagine, when about 1,500 flat-rolled steel industry players converge, hotel space runs out fast. Accommodations immediately across from and next to the GICC – the Marriott, Renaissance, SpringHill Suites, and AC Hotel – are fully booked.
