Atlas Tube hikes prices by $60/ton
Written by Laura Miller
Atlas Tube announced price increases for mechanical, HSS, and piling products.
The Chicago-based tube producer said in a letter to customers on Monday that the increases are effective immediately for all new orders.
It said all mechanical and HSS shapes through 14” square and equivalent rectangles will increase by $60 per short ton.
All mechanical and HSS rounds, and piling through 28” OD, will also see $60/st increases.
“All orders currently on our books will be price protected for shipment through July 3, 2026,” the company stated, noting the increase applies to all unconfirmed quotes and contracts.
The move comes as substrate prices continue to rise. See today’s pricing story for the latest sheet prices.
Atlas Tube is a part of Zekelman Industries. Last week, Atlas announced it would form a joint venture with Maruichi USA, combining the companies’ operations under Atlas Tube’s management.
