AISI, SMA cheer USTR's unveiling of framework to combat global excess steel capacity

Steel trade groups applauded the US Trade Representative’s (USTR’s) unveiling of “The Milwaukee Framework” to fight global excess steel capacity.

USTR Jamieson Greer on Wednesday chaired the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Forum on Steel Excess Capacity in Milwaukee, where participants reached consensus on a comprehensive framework for joint action called “The Milwaukee Framework.”
