Drexel Metals, a custom metal fabricator and portfolio company of Arborview Capital, has been acquired by Carlisle Construction Materials. Drexel, headquartered in Louisville, Ky., is a leader in the residential and nonresidential architectural metal roofing segment with regional facilities in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Colorado and Maryland.
Drexel provides on-site rolling of metal panels, custom trim and cornice fabrication, edge metal and a wide range of underlayment and insulation products.
Drexel’s senior management team will continue to work with CCM to expand the brand’s presence in the architectural metal roofing segment.

CCM CEO John Altmeyer commented, “Drexel Metals represents an outstanding opportunity for CCM to expand its roofing presence beyond its traditional low-slope, single-ply segment. The fragmented nature of the metal roofing business allows for both greenfield and acquisition growth opportunities that the experienced team at Drexel will be encouraged to pursue.”
