Essar Algoma Seeking Top Execs
Written by Sandy Williams
October 13, 2013
Essar Algoma is looking for a few good men (or women) to fill three of its top positions: CEO, CFO, and Chief – Sales and Marketing.
The position of chief executive officer is currently held by Kalyan Ghosh who stepped in as Interim CEO following Jim Hrusovsky’s resignation in November 2012 after sixteen months in office. Ghosh left the position of chief commercial officer to assume leadership of Essar Algoma leaving the CMO position vacant. A position similar to that of CMO, chief – sales and marketing, has been posted said Brenda Stenta, manager, corporate communications.
Chief Financial Officer Rakesh Kapur was seconded last year to Essar Steel’s U.S. operations and Essar Algoma is now seeking his replacement. (Note: secondment is a temporary transfer that frequently becomes permanent.)
