NIM Group Closes Acquisition of Plateplus Plant in Colorado

NIM Group has acquired Plateplus Inc.’s Windsor, Colo., plant, further expanding the product lines and processing capabilities of the family-owned network of service centers.
“We are pleased to welcome the Windsor team to the NIM Group family,” NIM Group president and COO Arnie Robinson said. “This facility is a great fit to continue our growth and investment in the Western United States.”
Plateplus supplies hot-rolled steel coil, sheet and plate from six service centers strategically located throughout the U.S. Its Windsor plant processes hot-rolled steel coils into sheet and plate products.
NIM Group is the parent company of Norfolk Iron & Metal, Metalwest and Cd’A Metals. Combined, they operate 17 locations nationwide with daily deliveries to customers in 30 states.
