Reliance Inc. said it has completed its buy of Houston-based American Alloy Steel, effective as of April 1.
Further terms of the deal, announced in February, were not disclosed.
The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based service center giant noted in a statement on Wednesday that it has “completed its acquisition of all of the outstanding equity interests and related real estate assets of American Alloy Steel.”
American Alloy is a distributor of specialty carbon and alloy steel plate and round bar, including pressure-vessel quality (PVQ) material.
Reliance said the current American Alloy team, including management, will remain in place. For the 12 months ended Dec. 31, annual net sales for American Alloy were ~$310 million.
