Steel Market Update will be taking time off in observance of Good Friday and Easter.
Our offices will be closed on Friday, April 18, and we will not publish our Executive issue on Sunday, April 20.
Our weekly pricing service will not be impacted.
We will resume our regular publication schedule on Monday, April 21, and our pricing service on Tuesday, April 22.

US service centers flat-rolled steel supply in August declined month-over-month (m/m) and year-over-year (y/y), according to SMU data.

AISI: Raw steel output slips
Domestic mill output declined last week, according to the latest data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). While down, production remains historically strong, holding near multi-year highs since June.
