    CFC Recycling buys Goolsby & Sons in Tennessee

    CFC Recycling has acquired Goolsby & Sons Recycling, a family-owned scrap and recycling company in Gallatin, Tenn.

    Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

    Tullahoma, Tenn.-based CFC said the move allows it to better serve the full spectrum of Gallatin-area customers. This includes manufacturers and contractors managing large volumes of job-site scrap and individuals dropping off household metals.

    “Gallatin is a growing market, and Goolsby & Sons has already done the hard work of earning the community’s trust,” Alex Rice, president at CFC Transportation, said in a statement last week. “Our job now is to build on that foundation.”

    CFC handles both ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals.
