FGM streamlines operations under one brand

    Written by David Schollaert

Flack Global Metals (FGM) has consolidated Pacesetter Steel Service under the FGM brand, finalizing the group’s formal transition, the company said on Friday.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based FGM—a hybrid service center and industrial platform company—originally broke the news on the formal name change back in April when FGM founder and CEO Jeremy Flack sat down with SMU’s own Michael Cowden during a fireside chat in Chicago.

“This transition is a natural evolution of our business,” said Flack. “The operational reach and customer relationships that made Pacesetter successful remain.”

The move comes after FGM initially acquired a majority ownership stake in Pacesetter in 2024 and later assumed the Houston operations of NSPS Metals last November.

Flack said the brand consolidation will “better represent the full scope” of the company’s capabilities.
