USS breaks ground on Q&T project in Alabama

U.S. Steel held a ceremonial groundbreaking on Monday for its new $475-million quench-and-tempering (Q&T) facility at its Fairfield Tubular Operations in Alabama.

This comes after news last week that the Pittsburgh-based steelmaker had received the final permit necessary to advance the project.
