ArcelorMittal steel plant in Ukraine unable to restart due to war

ArcelorMittal told the government of Ukraine that it is unable to restart operations at its ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih steel plant in a “safe and sustainable manner” following Russian missile attacks.

The Luxembourg-based steelmaker said there have been four attacks, the most recent of which was on Sept. 21. The attacks have claimed five lives and have injured 17 employees.
