    AISI: US production edges back down

    Domestic raw steel output declined last week, after seeing continued swings over the past several weeks, according to the latest American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) figures.

    Over the past five weeks, US production has hit a multi-year high and a six-month low, maintaining a seesaw pattern. Despite the recent fluctuation, output has mostly trended lower since peaking in May—even if it remains strong compared to recent years.
