The US Commerce Department issued a preliminary finding that certain carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate (CTL plate) from Italy was sold at less-than-normal value between May 1, 2023, and April 30, 2024.
Commerce began a review of five producers/exporters on July 5, 2024: NLMK Verona; Officine Technosider; F.A.R. Fonderie Acciaierie; Ferriera Valsider and Metinvest Trametal.
The department determined that weighted-average dumping margins existed during that period for three companies: NLMK Verona at 3.52%; Metinvest Trametal at 5.51% and Ferriera Valsider at 5.51%.
F.A.R. Fonderie Acciaierie and Officine Technosider are being notified of Commerce’s intent to rescind the administrative review for these two companies.
You can find the full announcement in the Federal Register.
