Nucor kept its weekly list price for hot-rolled (HR) coil unchanged this week, following a price bump of $10 per short ton (st) last week.
The steelmaker said in a letter to customers on Tuesday that its consumer spot price (CSP) for HR coil would remain at $875/st, after attempting to halt the decline in HR coil prices the week prior.
Nucor also said pricing at its West Coast joint venture, California Steel Industries (CSI), would also remain unchanged from last week at $935/st.
