    Written by David Schollaert

Nucor kept its consumer spot price (CSP) for hot-rolled coil unchanged at $950 per short ton (st) for a third week.

The Charlotte, N.C.-based steelmaker said in a letter on Monday, Jan. 5, that the CSP for its West Coast joint venture, California Steel Industries (CSI), would also remain the same vs. last week at $1,000/st.

Lead times of 3 to 5 weeks will continue to be offered, the letter said.
