Nucor raised its consumer spot price (CSP) for hot-rolled (HR) coil by $10 per short ton (st) to $1,080/st.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based steelmaker said in a letter to customers on Monday, May 11, the CSP for its West Coast joint venture, California Steel Industries (CSI), was $1,130/st, also up $10/st from the prior week.
Nucor said on Thursday evening it plans to increase plate prices by $60 per short ton (st) as it opens its November order book.
